Congratulations Richard – Hutong Employee Of the Month!

At Hutong, we naturally encourage all of our teams – from front-of-house and bar to the kitchen, management and maintenance – to strive to deliver the very highest standards in everything they do. Some however succeed in going even further than that, delivering a level of service to our guests and colleagues that merits special recognition.

To this end, we recently introduced an award for Employee Of The Month, recognising a member from any of our teams who, whether according to guest feedback, managers’ observations or comments from their colleagues, has been of particular credit to Hutong.

At a special presentation, front-of-house supervisor Richard Li was recognised as our first Employee Of The Month. Since Hutong opened, Richard has consistently received glowing compliments from our guests, not only for his professionalism but also for his excellent menu knowledge, enthusiasm for our cuisine and great sense of humour!

Richard was presented with a certificate and a gift voucher by restaurant manager Tony Chan, to warm applause from the whole team who had gathered for the occasion. Richard and future Employee Of The Month winners will also be entered for Employee Of The Year, for which a spectacular (but secret!) prize will be awarded.
