Introducing our new General Manager

We are very pleased to introduce Simon Kirkham, who has joined Hutong as General Manager.
Simon has been part of the Aqua Restaurant Group family since 2008, joining as Restaurant Manager of aqua kyoto, and spent nine months pre-opening in Hong Kong managing another of aqua’s Japanese restaurants, Wasabisabi. He became Assistant General Manager of aqua london in June 2012 and most recently was Operations Manager.
Prior to aqua, Simon worked for Tom Aikens, launching his eco-friendly sustainable seafood restaurant in Chelsea, and worked his way through the ranks at Nobu Park Lane, then the launch of Nobu Berkeley in 2005.
As Hutong enters its second year of trading and continues to be one of London’s busiest restaurants, Simon will be drawing on his experience both of our company and of hospitality to ensure that our esteemed guests old and new are delighted by their experience of us.
